POSITION SUMMARY:

The Pre-sales engineer will be part of the Company’s sales team. He/she will educate potential customers about the technical value of the company’s solutions, remove technical objections during the selling process, and help customers select the best architecture for the customer needs. In addition, the sales engineer will help customers evaluate the products and solution and when necessary, help back up the Company post-sales Service and Support team, especially with deployment planning and execution. An important responsibility of the presales engineer will be to provide product and solution feedback to the Company product management team to allow the company to improve its products and to provide better fit of the product to customer needs. The nature of the position requires flexibility in work hours and in ability to travel to customer sites.

Primary Duties Include:

As a systems engineer, you will be called on to validate customer environments, and pre-stage solutions. This position will also involve travel to customer sites to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve customer escalations.

To adequately fill this position, you must have the ability to analyze, configure and troubleshoot large and complex data networks. Proven crisis management skills are essential. LAN switching and fundamental routing expertise is necessary to be successful in this role, as well as a thorough understanding of large data centers.
