POSITION SUMMARY:
Execute a variety of technical and marketing activities
related to company’s Layer 2/3 performance and
conformance testing products. Responsibilities include
working with customers on technical product issues,
product training, product demos, technical collateral
development, and competitive analysis.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- In-depth
understanding of network principles and IP routing
protocols, including, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP, OSPF,
ISIS, MPLS and, Multicast
- Requires
experience designing and building networks, specifically
router and switch device configuration and management
- Must
have good oral and written communications skills
- Must
be able to analyze and resolve problems of significant
complexity
- Ability
to work independently, as well as a member of a
team, in a dynamic environment
- Ability
to manage large scale projects

POSITION SUMMARY:
As a key member of the Marketing Team, the Product
Manager, Software Applications and Utilities is responsible
for all product marketing/management functions for
the company’s system control and content management
applications and utilities.
The successful candidate will also be responsible
for the following:
- Developing
and maintaining the product strategy for his or
her products: identifying customer requirements,
maintaining a deep understanding of competitive
offerings, managing use of external technology providers,
writing the marketing and product requirements documents
(MRDs/PRDs) for new products, managing the product
roadmap and vision, and setting product pricing.
- Driving
product programs: playing an active role in cross-functional
product team meetings, closely tracking Engineering
and Manufacturing progress through development,
guiding product trade-off decisions, and otherwise
assisting Engineering and Manufacturing to ensure
successful, on-schedule product development.
- Evangelizing
the product both internally and externally: communicating
the business rationale behind product decisions
in product team or company-wide forums, creating
and/or contributing to effective product messaging
for product launches, presenting and positioning
product information to customers, and providing
the sales organization with product information
as required (e.g. roadmap, collateral, sales tools,
and training materials).
- Managing
the operational aspects of his or her products,
including unit bookings forecasts, beta test programs,
and end of life transitions.
POSITION REQUIRMENTS:
As a key member of the Marketing Team, you must have
3-6 years of experience with broadcast video operations,
applications, and related technologies. This experience
may come either from a technical role (e.g. Engineering
at a broadcast TV station) or preferably from a traditional
product management position.
The successful candidate will ideally have the following
skills:
- Experience
preparing product requirements documents (MRDs/PRDs)
and well versed in standard product management processes
- Demonstrated
track record in managing products that have achieved
success in the market
- Strong
analytical skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated,
driven, and results-oriented
- Excellent
communication skills, both written and oral
- Experience
with digital video/audio technologies
EDUCATION:

architectures, disk drive qualification and lifecycle

enhancements, redundancy strategy, and IP enhancements.
The successful candidate will also be responsible
for the following:
- Developing
